15th April,2024,marked a significant milestone as our college was officially launched, carrying forward the legacy of the Koiyaki Guiding School. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us, making it an unforgettable occasion.
During the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Alfred Mutua, the Cabinet Secretary for Wildlife and Tourism, reiterated his commitment to enhancing institutional housing to accommodate more students. He also announced a generous allocation of Kshs 70 million to compensate individuals affected by Human-Wildlife Conflict in Narok County.
Furthermore, Mr. Francis Ole Nkoitoi, a member of the Board of Trustees, unveiled plans to collaborate with the Wildlife Research and Training Institute (WRTI) to enhance synergy between the two colleges. This initiative received significant support from leaders, with pledges from Hon. Johanna Ngeno and Hon. Rebecca Tonkei to sponsor students and provide scholarships, respectively.
The ceremony, graced by dignitaries including His Excellency Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu, underscored the commitment of the Narok County government to support education through bursaries and scholarships.
We express our gratitude to all donors, including the Basecamp Foundation Kenya (BCFK) founder, Svein Wilhelmsein, for their scholarships and dedication to expanding educational opportunities.
We are now accredited by TVETA to issue official certificates to our students upon completion .
