This course aims to develop skilled and responsible tourism professionals through TVET-based training that responds to industry needs and promotes sustainable tourism practices.

The curriculum covers tourism principles, tour guiding and travel operations, customer care, tourism marketing, entrepreneurship, ICT in tourism, cultural heritage, environmental sustainability, and tourism law. The course is TVET-CDACC accredited and combines classroom learning with practical and field-based training.

This course is meant for high school leavers who wish to pursue a career in Nature Tour Guiding. It builds on the award winning program at the Koiyaki Guiding School that produced high caliber graduates who have made an impact on the standards of nature guiding in the Country. The program covers natural history, touristic history and

geography, communication skills, French, ICT and Cultures of Kenya. In addition, First Aid, Driving, and Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association (KPSGA) Bronze certification are offered in the Course. Course delivery covers both classwork and field activities. The Course is TVET accredited
